Position Summary:
Acton-area elementary school is seeking a compassionate and licensed mental health professional to provide in-person counseling services to a K6 student caseload. We welcome applications from social workerswith a strong background in school-based support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students in grades K6.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support student well-being.
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in student support teams and contribute to IEP/504 planning as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts licensure or certification in social work (LCSW/LICSW).
- Prior experience in a school-based setting required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- CORI background check and fingerprinting required prior to start.
